In den vergangenen 37 Jahren, seit ich als Fotograf tätig bin, gab es keine einzige Woche, in der ich nicht fotografiert habe. Während meiner Zeit als Fotojournalist und jetzt als freier Mitarbeiter kam es mir nie in den Sinn, meine Kamera über einen so langen Zeitraum hinweg nicht zu benutzen. Dieser Zustand erschien mir unerträglich ...

So ging ich nach draußen, um zu fotografieren. Doch die leeren Straßen waren beängstigend. Schließlich kommt mir die Idee, das minimalistische Leben in den Straßen von Tirana zu fotografieren . Ich schlage Adela Muçollari, der Primaballerina des Opernhauses vor, eine Fotoserie von ihr zu machen: mit Schutzmaske tanzend in den leeren Straßen.

Auf diese Weise habe ich die Fotoserie "Ballerina in Quarantäne" realisiert.

Unser Land hat viele Veränderungen durchgemacht, und ich war Zeuge all dieser Ereignisse und Veränderungen. Mit dieser Fotoserie konnte ich in der zweimonatigen Quarantänezeit wenigstens mein Archiv vervollständigen.

During my 37 years as a photographer, I have not had a single week without taking pictures. During my time as a photojournalist and now a freelancer, it never occurred to me not to shoot the camera in such a long period of time. I couldn't stand it…

I went out to take pictures but the empty streets were scary… I had an idea to photograph “a little” life on the streets of Tirana. I propose to the prima ballerina of the Opera House, Adela Muçollari to make a cycle of photos with masks on the empty streets.

This is how I realized the photographic cycle "Ballerina in quarantine"

Our country has undergone many changes and I have witnessed all the events and changes. With this photo cycle, I completed the archive at least in the 2-month quarantine period.
